Paul Burcar

Paul started his career in Aerospace with Bombardier when they first entered the Business jet Interior completions business, he worked early on in Challenger 604 Bids and Proposals and Sales Support where he developed his passion for aircraft completions. He transitioned shortly thereafter to become one of the original members of the Global Express completion management team focusing on serial number 9008. Over time Paul has taken on various roles within Bombardier completions including Supervisor of the Customer Account Representatives, Global Delivery Manager and Customer Project Manager.

While at Bombardier Paul gained experience defining the interior specification and layout package with the customer and designers, he was also responsible for the contract administration and the change order process during the completion cycle, project overview, conformity and quality inspection for subcomponents, veneer lay-up and selection and final delivery inspection and review including the de-registration and title transfer process with Transport Canada and the FAA.

Over the years Paul has worked on a variety of new and exceptional completion projects from wood floors in the cabin to showers, new electrical berthing seats to sleeping pods as well as being one of the original Customer Project Managers to launch and execute the NetJets completion contract.  

Paul transitioned to a new challenge moving to Textron Aviation’s newer simulator division to support the RFP process as Bid Manager for aircraft Full Flight Simulators to support A320, B737Max and ATR pilot training.

With over 20 years’ experience in aviation, Paul is a respected completions specialist known for a keen eye for detail while overseeing the overall completion build process and entry into service. Although focused on the Global line of aircraft Paul has been part of delivery inspection teams for Challenger aircraft, in-service refurb projects as well as BBJ custom interior projects.
